Systemic Leadership: It’s about noticing, navigating, understanding and caring for the fish-tank as well as the fish

Due to the overwhelming interest in this event in March this year when a number of fellows were unable to register, Dr Tate has kindly offered to repeat the event.

Whether you’re an NHS manager, teacher, banker, politician, policeman, or indeed almost anyone with responsibility in an organisation, it’s the interconnecting forces and relationships in your working environment that mainly influence what you do. More than your organisation’s culture, it’s what you experience as ‘the system’.

Our speaker William Tate is a leadership strategist and a writer, teacher and consultant. His perspective draws on systems theory and complexity science. With multiple books and papers to his name, Dr Tate’s most recent paper was published by London Metropolitan University’s Centre for Progressive Leadership, where he is a Fellow. His work and a wide range of leadership resources can be accessed via The Institute for Systemic Leadership.
